Katrina Brophy, MSW, LCSW

Katrina Brophy, LCSW was born and raised in central New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University, graduating cum laude with a bachelors degree in social work. She went on to receive her masters in social work with a clinical concentration at Fordham University and graduated in 2014. Katrina continued her education in 2016 by receiving a post-masters certificate in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Bryn Mawr College.
Katrina began her social work career at Jewish Family & Children's Service of Greater Mercer County in 2014. She completed her masters of social work field placement at the agency and was hired there upon graduation. During her placement she worked as a senior care manager and as an adolescent therapist. Upon hiring Katrina continued working with older adults in Mercer County providing case management services.
In 2016 Katrina was hired as a psychiatric social worker at Hampton Behavioral Health Center. There she gained experience working with individuals ranging from teens to older adults. She has experience working with adults and teens who suffer from a variety of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, mood disorders and substance abuse disorders. Katrina has experience working with individuals, families and providers.
Katrina joined Serenity Counseling as a therapist in December 2018.
