Beyond the Scoreboard: Why Mental Health Matters in Sports

For many, athletes are seen as the epitome of physical health and peak performance. Most of the time elite athletes are only seen as athletes and as a source of entertainment. But what about their mental well-being? Just like anyone else, athletes are humans and face a unique set of mental health challenges that can significantly impact their performance and overall life.
